We have put together a suggested kit list here to help when getting items for camps Camping Kit Suggestions
Things not to bring
- Aerosol deodorants, they are often flammable, can affect those with asthma and can damage the canvas of tents
- Games or similar items (i.e. music players / radio’s) which require batteries to run.
- Pen knives.
- Matches / lighters / flammable fluids / fire lighters
- Beavers and cubs do not bring Mobile phones to camp. Scouts can bring mobile phones, but they bring them at their own risk and the Scout Group do not accept responsibility if they are lost.
- The camp is not a fashion show and we advise your son/daughter not to bring expensive clothing items. It would be best to bring old items that don’t matter if they get damaged or very dirty. Please note low cut vest tops, hot pants and skimpy shorts are not acceptable clothing to be worn on camp.
- Additional food or sweets.
